Viewsonic firmware update -> 2.3.7

I had the same problem here, it seems to be the same issue. Installation went fine. Initial Sync fails, even over WLAN. Search works, but calendar and mail are not functional, just empty.
I installed the new firmware (android 2.3.7) just today via OTA (just go through the menu and do it) and the update worked fine. However still the same traveler problem.

PS: I think a dual SIM is a perfect thing for BYOD or a company owned phone if it works pretty well.
